Yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol/the National Eisteddfod of Wales

At the opening of y Lle Celf 2019...  it's a real honour to be included in the National Eisteddfod exhibition, and the range of work on show is amazing.  Video, animation, installation, photography - and a lot of painting and drawing, which is always good to see.  Craft work includes exquisite miniature rush baskets by Rosie Farey, and the highly textured Gold Medal-winning work of Bev Bell-Hughes.  The Gold Medal for Fine Art was awarded to Daniel Trivedy for his installation "Ffoaduriaid", combining the patterns of traditional Welsh blankets with the emergency blankets used when rescuing refugees.
