Google stats.

I have just been looking at the statistics page:  the geographical location of people who have viewed my blog is shown in shades of green, with the depth of colour proportional to the number of visits.  Over the last couple of days the UK Green has darkened a bit, which might reflect increased "hits" by potential visitors to my studio for Helfa Gelf, or increased hits by me as I try to bring everything up to date.  However, the darkest green is always over Germany and the old USSR.  Do I really have a fanbase in Russia?  Or is this where the spammers lurk (or where their addresses lurk under false pretences?)  This week I see I have had one visitor each from Latvia, Peru and Israel - greetings to you all from Wales.
