Maps and Makers, Gas Gallery, Aberystwyth

Took two pieces of work into Aberystwyth yesterday, and hope there will be room for the larger one, seen here in part at a very intermediate stage....

The aim is to paint as much as possible, on a single roll of paper, of my walks along the Dyfi, as part of the project looking at maps and mapping in Ceredigion.  There are some smaller drawings as well, but unfortunately a blue tit got into the studio during the week, and left some adverse criticism.  It looks quite interesting, but I doubt that even expensive buffered paper will be able to cope with pure uric acid;  I think I will cut it out and put in a patch.
